BETWEEN US, PARENTS : a shared promise to delay smartphones
I commit that my child will live free from personal smartphone use this entire school year, and to focus on age-appropriate tech use and the healthiest digital habits I can teach.
I will talk with my child about online safety, model mindful tech use at home, and connect with other families so we can set consistent expectations together.
Each school year, I will revisit this inter-parents pledge together with parents around me, adapting it as my child grows while keeping well-being ahead of convenience.
